Product Description

Tantalum oxide generally refers to tantalum pentoxide which is also called "tantalum anhydride, white rhombic crystals.
Its chemical properties is stable, acid and alkali resistance, heat without being hydrogen chloride or Chemicalbook erosion.
With alkali metal hydroxide or carbonate eutectic can obtain corresponding insoluble tantalate, water washing is hydrolyzed to generate hydrate tantalum pentoxide precipitation.

• Tantalum oxide can be used for the preparation of metal tantalum, optical glass, electronic instruments, and the intermediate of tantalum carbide, available for lithium tantalate single crystal and manufacturing special optical glass with high refraction low dispersion, as a catalyst in chemical industry.
